Programme Content

The Physics and Astrophysics programme is the only Slovenian programme in astrophysics with an emphasis on basic physical sciences created to astrophysics and solid-state physics.

The programme is designed so that students acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge as quickly as possible to participate in research work. In addition to basic mathematical and physical content, they study experimental methods used in laboratories. In the second and third years, students continue to study physical content, focusing on the narrower areas of astrophysics and solid-state physics.
